It was a struggle for the horses to climb through snow in the high country. Fortunately the valleys were still snow free and provided rich fodder for the horses.

High resolution scanning and restoration of original negatives and transparencies by Carole Harmon.

  • 14×20 inch print = 12×17 inch image + ½ inch border on 14×20 inch paper.
