Swift’s homestead, near Jasper House, was on a trade route through Yellowhead Pass to British Columbia.. This area became first a forest reserve and finally part of Jasper National Park. The Swifts were initially grandfathered but eventually forced to sell.

Exhibition-quality archival digital print made with pigment inks on acid-free cotton fibre paper.

High resolution scanning and restoration of original negatives and transparencies by Carole Harmon.

Print sizes available:

  • 14×22 inch print = 13×21 inch image + ½ inch border on 14×22 inch paper.

  • 21×34 inch print = 20×33 inch image + ½ inch border on 21×34 inch paper.
